Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times.

Subscriptions

Paid plans ($4.99/mo monthly or $39/yr annual) are billed through Stripe and start with a 30-day free trial that requires a card. Cancel during the trial and you are not charged. The free health check needs no card and is limited to one per car every 90 days. Plans renew until canceled. Cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period.

Guarantee and refunds

Try it free for 30 days. If AskMyEV isn't useful, cancel before the trial ends and you're never charged. Changed your mind after your first payment? Email support within 30 days of that first charge and we'll refund it in full.

• Free trial: if you cancel before your 30-day trial ends (60 days with a referral), you are not charged.
• First paid charge: if you request it by emailing support within 30 days of your first paid charge, we refund that first charge in full to your original payment method through Stripe. This applies once per customer and only to the first paid charge, not to later renewals. For annual plans, it is the first annual charge.
• Canceling stops future renewals. A refunded subscription is canceled.

Referrals

A subscriber can share a referral link. A new customer who has never subscribed and signs up through it gets a 60-day free trial instead of 30 and, on the monthly plan, 50% off their first paid month (one time). The referrer earns an account credit equal to one month of their current plan ($4.99 for monthly plans, $3.25 for annual plans) for each referred customer who makes a first paid charge and is still subscribed 30 days after it; credits are applied to the referrer's next invoices through Stripe. A referrer who earns 5 credits within 12 months also gets a one-time bonus of 3 months of credit, once per calendar year. The referrer must have an active subscription. Limit: 12 referral credits per referrer per 12 months, and one reward per vehicle (VIN). No self-referrals: we void referrals that share a Tesla account, email address, payment card or vehicle with the referrer, and referrals whose payment is refunded. Credits have no cash value. We may void referrals that abuse the program.

Creator affiliates

Approved creators earn a commission of 20% (up to 30% by written agreement) of the amount, net of tax and refunds, of each paid AskMyEV invoice from customers they refer through their link or code, for 12 months from that customer's first paid invoice. The first creator link or code a new customer uses is the one credited; a customer can't be credited to both a creator and a subscriber referral. Commissions become payable 14 days after the charge if it isn't refunded, are paid manually each month, and refunded or charged-back payments are deducted from future payouts. Creators must disclose the relationship to their audience and may not self-refer, spam, or bid on the AskMyEV name in paid search. We may end the program or remove a creator at any time; commissions already cleared are still paid.

Your vehicle and data

You must own the vehicle or be authorized to connect it. Access is read-only, and you can revoke it anytime. Data and AI answers may be delayed or inaccurate. Don't rely on them for safety-critical decisions.

No affiliation

AskMyEV is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc., OpenAI, Anthropic or xAI.

Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
